NEW ARTISTSHARE PROJECT "FLOW" LAUNCHED! -- In my last newsletter I was about to launch the new ArtistShare project through my website, and since then it has been born and now fully accessible, alongside my website facelift! I'm extremely excited to make available to those who have been following my career and checking out my music over the years my new offering.
For those hip to the ArtistShare system through my previous project, Routes, you know how it works, but for those who are new to this innovative system that ArtistShare has created (whose artists' releases have won Grammys three years in a row now!) it works like this: You buy into the project (there are many different types of packages available, from download to CD to higher level participants including the coveted Executive Producer package) which has yet to be made! Through a series of demos, blogs, picture galleries, streaming audio and videos of rehearsals and performances, and other formats, one can see from conceptualization to its final form an album coming to life. What makes this a unique system is that while most album buying experiences only lets you hear the final product with only liner notes, album artwork and the occasional interview in magazines for any hint of an insight to the songs or the artist, through the ArtistShare projects one can experience the deeper inner workings of how a particular album comes together. And even though you will have to wait a year for the album, you can get immediately the remix EP CD Alternate Routes. The high level participant packages (Executive Producer, Gold, Silver and Bronze) will get album credit in the final product, and each offers a different perk, including the Hope single, personalized and signed by myself and my mother, as well as my live DVD Routes Live In Japan. I'm proud to mention that already two Silver Participant packages and one Bronze Participant package have been snapped up, which shows such dedication and faith in my commitment to my musical expression -- thank you!
"Flow" Vocal Participant Package -- There is one particularly special package I want to point out which I am offering for the first time, which is the Flow Vocal Participant package. After years of helping various young singers get a firm leg in the studio with tips and advice, I've decided to offer these points as well as other things I acquired through my years as a singer in a series of vocal exercises and lessons, as well as written and audio examples. While I'll leave the technical vocal exercises to the pros, what makes my tips unique is that I go through various scenarios, such as studio recordings, lives, and even dietary advice in my attempt to share what I have learned through personal trial and error.
