| | | | | | | | Photos from March 27 & 28, 2007 recording session | | Recent recording sessions for the Geneon covers album -- it'll be called "My Ever Changing Moods." The musicians were AMAZING!!! Antonio Sanchez on drums, Adam Rogers on guitars, Henry Hey on rhodes, and Jon Benitez on bass. Dave Darlington again holding down the fort on the sonics and gelling everything together. Tried new studios: Kaleidoscope Sound in New Jersey for the live recording, and One East for vocals and rough mixes. I'm really excited about the project. | | |

| | | | | | From "Tokyo Calendar" Shoot, September, 2006 | We did a shoot for the Japanese magazine, Tokyo Calendar, which came out on the stands on October 21st, 2006. I was approached by the coordinator/journalist Yori Ishikawa-san whom I had met about a year ago when she was doing coordination for another magazine -- they wanted me to choose several men who I'm associated with to pose with me wearing Paul Stuart clothing. Of course, Sasha was the first person I thought of, and instead of causing potential marrital strife by choosing the others, I asked Sasha's opinion on who he felt the others should be, and he suggested drummer Antonio Sanchez (who he's recorded and toured with in various settings), as well as guitarist David Gilmore, who we've both worked with. I think they were great choices, and the camera just loved them!
Of course Takashi did our make-up and hair, and he generously took pictures on the set for me to share with you! | | |

| | | | | | | | SOBs - May 1, 2006 | | Taking photos is the last thing on my mind when I'm doing a performance, I have too many other things to think (and worry!) about, but thankfully Takashi-san is a great sport to remember to bring his camera! Just some shots from the back. The one on stage (and slightly blurred) is by B-Dub, who was there with members of the Brand New Heavies | | |

| | | | | | Visions of Spring 2006 | | On a recent visit by Natsuko (Okustan) and Takashi, Takashi took some fantastic pictures which he shared with me, which I'd like to share with you. There are also some additional pictures of things I've been up to, nothing to do with music, just enjoying the season, life in general, all which effects me and my music | | |

| | | | | | | Aruba Vacation! | | These are just some pictures we took during our much needed vacation. I'd DYING to go back! I'm not much of a winter or cold weathered person, and feel so much healthier and less stressed in the hotter weather. Sigh~! | | |

| | | | | | Makor Live shots - November 2, 2005 | | Some shots taken by Natsuko Hayashi and Takashi Matsuzaki at Makor's. Unfortunately I forgot to take pictures of the musicians and some of the audience members who were there! Just difficult sometimes to remember these things, sorry! :-) | | |

| | | | | | Visions of Summer 2005 -- Family & Friends! | | As much as I am compelled to work 'til I drop, I try to also enjoy the summer and the fruits of my lovely family and friends around me. Last month was especially fun in that we had a lot of get togethers, what with Mink's recording, 4th of July, my cousin's wedding in Maine, and just generally chilling out. Some of my private moments when I'm not aggravating behind the computer or other mind contorting contraptions!! | | |

| | | | | | | Photos by Itaru Hirama | | I've been approached recently by Universal Japan about putting out yet another compilation album of my works under their catalogue, but this time with Hashimoto-san's Free Soul series, which I found an interesting concept. I've bought many a Free Soul compilation album which always features some tasty artists, mostly from the '70s, and I found it interesting that they would want to do one on my work, considering I'm a more contemporary and recent artist. In either case, they got these photos from photographer Itaru Hirama-san who I just adored working with throughout the years to use in the CD artwork as well as promotional use for this particular compilation, which I thought I'd share with you. Very nostalgic for me, as most are 10 years old. | | |
